“After living on borrowed time for almost 10 years, our furnace finally failed. The heat exchanger had a crack and dangerous fumes were being blown into our home as a result. This forced me to reach out to a number of different heating and cooling specialists for quotes, system review, and timelines. Needless to say, since I’m writing this review, I chose to go with L & J Heating & Cooling.
But here is why. When I called and asked for help, they came out the very next day to meet with me – other companies deferred me at least 3 days. Second, they explained their procedures and systems to me in enough detail that I could make an educated decision, this included giving me a cafeteria menu of options that included availability of the equipment. Third, they did end up being the lowest costs overall for what I wanted! And lastly, they were 100% on-time to do the work along with getting it done on time – this last bit almost never happens.
I work in real estate, I deal with clients who have the very same issue or need to have a furnace repaired as a condition to close. In every case going forward I will be recommended L & J Heating & Cooling to my clients for any and all repair and service needs.

“We had our furnace shut off overnight 3 consecutive nights. Mike came out 3 days to trouble shoot the issue. Each day it was up & running w/o issues, then would shut off again overnight. Turns out the controller failed. Mike had installed this new controller in Nov 2020. Between the ice storm and numerous power outages, something caused it. L&J only charged us a service fee for Mike’s 1st day here. The controller was under warranty. He replaced it free of charge and no problem since.This company is top notch! You can trust them to explain or show you what they found. They work hard to accommodate your needs. It is so refreshing to find great people doing the right thing!”
